Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries : AAA (LR03), AA

Nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries don't suffer from
the memory effects that beset nickel cadmium (NI-CD) rechargeables
which means you can recharge a partially discharged battery
without lowering the capacity. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
also store far higher capacities than Nicd which
is ideal for modern power hungry applications such as digital cameras
and motorised toys. Our top capacity AA battery is the Fujicell 2700
mAh ultra high capacity AA rechargeable battery and is ideal when you
need power that will last. For AAA rechargable batteries there is the
Fujicell 1000mAh battery. The latest type of battery is the hybrio from
Uniross, which charges just like any other NiMH battery (if your
battery charger can charge NiMH batteries then it can charge hybrio
batteries) but it holds the charge far longer than normal. Once
charged, after one year the hybrio still hold about 70% of their
capacity where as normal ones will need recharging long before this -
which
means it is ideal for occasional use and together with the 2100mAh high
capacity of the AA hybrio battery makes them also ideal
for high power usage, they are the popular choice for digital cameras.

Hearing aid Batteries : A10, A312, A13, A675
Zinc air 1.4v hearing aid batteries have standard colour codes: yellow
(size 10), brown (size 312), orange (size 13), blue (size 675).
Sometimes you may see other letters in the codes e.g. 10A but these are
arbitrary - the most important thing is to remember either the size
code or colour. Zinc air batteries are activated by the removal of a
tab from the battery.
